• To establish an advanced screening and radiographic (OPG/CBCT/Extraoral radiographs) centre for appropriate diagnosis.
• To introduce advanced technologies (Laser/Implants/ CAD-CAM scanner and lab) for enabling better care & advanced treatment options for the patients.
• To procure Mobile Dental Van for arranging oral health check-up and treatment camps in surrounding villages.
• To establish a Government Dental College with all dental specialties and treatment options under one roof to benefit patients and produce well trained graduates in field of dentistry.

Mission :

• Department of Dentistry is committed to provide dental health care including diagnosis, treatment and prevention of the conditions, diseases and disorders of the oral cavity and maxillofacial region and its associated structures. Department offers undergraduate medical students exposure to Dental specialty through lectures, seminars and case discussion.

Services Provided

• Routine diagnosis and radiographic examination of tooth and associated structures.
• Early diagnosis, follow-up and management of Precancerous lesions and Conditions like Leukoplakia /OSMF/Others.
• Restorative procedures: Light Cure Composite Resin restorations, Silver Amalgam and Glass Ionomer Cement restorations.
• Root Canal Treatment.
• Dental Extractions, third molar impactions and other minor surgical procedures.
• Surgical management of maxillofacial trauma, pathologies and temporomandibular disorders.
• Prosthetic rehabilitation of edentulous patients with partial/ complete dentures.
• Preventive, Interceptive and Corrective Orthodontic treatment.
• Conduct BLS and COLs workshops for medical and paramedical staffs and students and also the lay people.
