The Department of ENT at Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Government Medical College (BJGMC), Pune, is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for disorders related to the ear, nose, throat, and head-neck region. Services Provided
- The department caters a daily OPD patient load of 150-200 patients. With standard endoscopic diagnostic units and microscope facilities, we provide advanced diagnostic facilities.
- The department has various speciality OPDs like Allergic rhinitis OPD, Vertigo clinic, speech and voice clinic.
- Advanced equipment like Stroboscopy,VNG are available for better diagnostic facilities.
- The ENT ward is well equipped with a total bed capacity of 70 patients.
- We perform approximately 1500 surgeries on yearly basis including major ENT surgeries like MRM,thyroidectomy, and Endoscopic surgeries like hypophysectomy.
- All major head, neck cancer surgeries and skull based surgeries are operated by the department.
- The department has PG intake of 8 seats for MS ENT and also offers one year MUHS fellowship program in Head and Neck Oncosurgery.
- The life changing surgery and a boon to deaf children below 5 years,Cochlear Implant surgery is done by the department.
