The Department of Anatomy at Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Government Medical College (BJGMC) in Pune is dedicated to providing comprehensive medical education, research opportunities, and community services. Recognizing anatomy as the cornerstone of medical education, the department emphasizes both traditional teaching methods and the clinical application of anatomical knowledge.

The Anatomy Department provides in-depth knowledge of the human body’s structure through cadaveric dissection, histology, and advanced imaging techniques.The Anatomy Department forms the foundation of medical education by providing in-depth knowledge of the human body’s structure. Through cadaveric dissection, histology, and modern imaging techniques, students gain a thorough understanding of the human form.

Through its dedicated faculty and comprehensive programs, the Department of Anatomy at BJGMC continues to play a pivotal role in shaping future medical professionals and advancing anatomical sciences.
