The College of Nursing at B.J. Government Medical College (BJGMC), Pune, has been a cornerstone of nursing education for over 106 years, upholding a rich legacy since its establishment in 1914. Initially offering the General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) diploma course under the Maharashtra Nursing Council (MNC), the college upgraded its curriculum in 2009 to introduce the Basic B.Sc. Nursing program with an annual intake of 50 students.
This four-year undergraduate degree program is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi, and is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik. Admissions are conducted through NEET (PCB group) under the Maharashtra State CET Cell.
